Return Policies

Web Store Return Policy

All returns must be pre-approved by General Store. Before shipping back your return, send us an email at jess@shop-generalstore.com and let us know which item you are returning. We will issue a return authorization number to be included in your return package.  For clothing and all other items, shipping costs are non-refundable and return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer. All return packages must be insured.

If you wish to return your purchase, we will gladly issue a store credit or exchange within 14 days of delivery for items that are returned in new, unused condition in their original package, with a copy of your receipt. We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not match these conditions. 
 
Online purchases may not be returned or exchanged at either of our brick and mortar locations. 

Clothing Returns

We understand the need to try on clothing. To allow for this, General Store will issue refunds on clothing items that are received back to us within 14 days of delivery in new, unworn condition. Please follow our online return procedure for clothing returns. 

Vintage Items

Due to their delicate nature, all of our vintage goods are final sale.
